Now, tap the options button on the top right corner to reveal the drop-down menu. Open the Files app on your iPhone and tap the browse button on the bottom of the screen. When you open the Files app, you won’t see the option to access Google Drive because we need to enable it first. The Files app lets you access files stored in iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, and the iPhone storage.
Google drive download all download#
The app would take some time to download all the images to the Photos app and you can find them on your iPhone after that. After that, tap the share button on the bottom left and tap Save image. Select all the photos you want to download by swiping your finger over the checkboxes on the left. Turns out, Apple allows Google Drive to be mapped in the Files app so you can access all your files in one place. Then tap the options button on the top right corner. While the Google Drive app has plenty of intuitive features such as in-built FaceID and TouchID, you can’t select multiple images and then download them to the Photos app.

While revisiting some of the old pictures on Google Drive, I realized that I couldn’t download multiple photos to my iPhone at once. I use Google Drive to keep a backup of my photos that I’ve captured over the years because I ran out of storage on iCloud.
